Oliver Volke

Oliver Volke (*1970) worked as a physics engineer before becoming a photographer. From 2011 to 2014 he studied at the Fotoakademie-Koeln (Academy for Photography of Cologne), Germany. At present he lives near Bonn with his family and works as a freelance photographer.

In his personal works he occupies himself with inward experience, relationships between people and childhood. His works are frequently inspired by classical works of painting and photography which he implements with subtle humour in his short story telling series and psychological portraits.
